Glenn McGrath


Glenn Donald McGrath (born 9 Feb 1970 in Dubbo, New South Wales), nicknamed “Pigeon” is a former Australian cricketer. He is one of the most highly regarded fast-medium pace bowlers in cricketing history, and a leading contributorto Australia’s domination of world cricket since the mid-1990’s to early 21st century. He holds the world record for the highest numbers of Test wickets by a fast bowler and is fourth on the all time list, top three are all spin bowlers. McGrath announced his retirement from the Test cricket on the 23 Dec 2006. His last test match was against England in Ashes at Sydney. His one day career came to an end In 2007 World Cup final. He is known throughout his career for maintaining a remarkably accurate line and length. He is one of the most economical fast bowler. For more info: click here
